The floral border looks its best when the lower edge remains fully intact. Does the curtain need to be shortened? Adjust the height at the top so that the scalloped floral border is not cut away.

Care instructions

Always check the product’s care label before washing. Use a mild detergent suitable for net curtains or synthetic curtain fabrics and select the recommended washing programme.

Preferably hang the net curtain while damp after washing. This allows many creases to fall out naturally. Iron the fabric only if permitted by the care label. Test the temperature on an inconspicuous area first and do not leave the iron in one place for too long.

HOW TO ORDER

Quantity: enter the number of separate pieces you require.
Length: enter the required width of fabric per piece. This is the total curtain width including the desired fullness ratio. This amount is usually calculated by multiplying the length of the curtain track by the selected fullness ratio.

EXAMPLE

Is your curtain track 3.20 metres wide and have you chosen a double pleat with a fullness ratio of 2.0? Enter:

You will receive one continuous piece of net curtain measuring 6.40 metres wide and 2.60 metres high, subject to the available roll length.

Would you like to receive two separate curtain panels? Enter 2 under Quantity and the required width of each individual panel under Length. Please note that the entered length applies to each separate piece.

ALLOW FOR THE PLEATS

To create a beautifully full curtain, you will need more fabric than the width of the curtain track. Depending on the desired pleat style, a fullness ratio of between 1.5 and 2.5 is often used.

ALLOW FOR THE FIXED HEIGHT

The net curtain has a fixed height of 260 cm. Before ordering, measure from the underside of the curtain track or curtain hook to the point where the curtain should end. Also allow for the heading height, heading tape and the desired distance from the windowsill or floor.

If a shorter finished height is required, adjust the fabric at the top. This preserves the decorative floral border along the bottom.

ALLOW FOR THE PATTERN

The floral border has a pattern width of 30 cm. If you are making several separate curtain panels and would like the design to align neatly, order sufficient extra fabric to position the pattern evenly.

Also allow enough fabric for seams, side hems, pleats and the selected finish. A small additional processing allowance helps prevent you from running short while making the curtain.
