The Rust Effect

The effect is built up using different colours, texture and finishing layers. Carmine Red and Umber Brown create warm, dark tones. Namibian Sand adds lighter nuances. The texture powder adds structure, giving the surface a less uniform, more weathered appearance. Patina and Silken Wax then add further nuance and contribute to the final appearance.
