Concrete Look for furniture and accessories

Give a side table, small cabinet or another decorative object a calm, layered appearance with the characteristic movement of concrete. Mystery Grey forms the base. Build up the decorative effect with Snow White, varnish and the small Stockinette. Silken Wax is the standard finish in this set and contributes to the final appearance of the surface.
The set is designed for smaller projects covering up to approx. 1.5 m². You’ll receive written instructions and, after purchase, access to a private video. The video demonstrates the Concrete Look technique step by step on a wall. The technique is the same, but for furniture and accessories, the written instructions included with the set are the main guide. The complete instructions are not shown on the product page.

Coverage and use

One set can cover a surface of up to approx. 1.5 m². Actual coverage depends on factors such as the texture and absorbency of the substrate, the application method, the desired intensity of the effect, and the shape and size of the object.
The set is intended for smaller pieces of furniture, accessories and other suitable objects, such as:

• a side table or small cabinet;
• a vase or picture frame;
• a tray;
• another small decorative object.
  Proper surface preparation is important for an even, durable result.

What else will you need?

The small Stockinette used to create the Concrete Look effect is included. You’ll need to provide your usual painting supplies, such as a brush or roller, paint tray, masking tape and materials for preparing the surface.

Finishing with Silken Wax

Silken Wax is the standard final finish in this set and contributes to the surface’s final appearance. For surfaces subject to heavier use or requiring more protection, you can omit the Silken Wax and finish the object with a suitable extra-matt varnish. This varnish is not included and must be purchased separately.

The colours

Mystery Grey

Mystery Grey forms the base of the Concrete Look. Depending on the surrounding colours, materials and light, this shade of grey can appear warmer or cooler.

Snow White

Snow White is used to create light variation and movement on the surface. Together with Mystery Grey, it creates a nuanced grey finish rather than a flat, uniform surface.
