Pattern & offset match

The pattern does not line up straight but is staggered, which is an offset match (half drop / offset match). You start the next strip at half the repeat, so the flower groups do not sit directly underneath each other but continue neatly “every other” strip.

Hanging (paper wallpaper)

Apply wallpaper paste to the paper, let the wallpaper soak briefly and then hang it on the wall. Work calmly and carefully, because vintage paper wallpaper is more fragile due to age.

Sample 50×50 cm

We try to show the correct colours on your screen as well as possible, but colour settings can differ. That is why we offer the option to order a 50×50 cm sample to see the wallpaper clearly, and it is also nice for later creative use.

Storage & vintage condition

This unique retro wallpaper is original from the 50s/60s/70s/80s and careful handling is needed due to the age of the product. Over the years these rolls have been stored carefully, yet the ageing process may be visible in small spots, and we check the level of ageing and usability of the product.

Humidity & no returns

We do not accept returns and the product must be stored at the same humidity level. Big swings in humidity can affect paper and print, so store it dry and consistent.

Extra protection (optional)

If you want an extra protective layer, for example in a hallway or for heavy use, you can optionally finish it after hanging with our Decoration Vernis Extra Mat.  This creates an extra protective layer over the wallpaper.
