Walter Haenen

is a Dutch photographic artist who works autonomously from his studio practice. Originally trained through experience rather than formal academia, he evolved from analogue photography into digital image-making, developing a distinctive visual language along the way. His work often combines photography with digital layering techniques. By merging portraiture with ornamental or graphic structures, he creates images that move beyond documentation and into interpretation. Craftsmanship, patience and compositional precision are central to his process. Haenen regularly exhibits his work and is known for creating visually powerful pieces that invite viewers to look longer and discover more.

The artworks are located at Pot Interieur in Axel and can be viewed there during opening hours and taken home immediately after purchase. Art is not shipped as standard parcel post. Depending on size, material and value, we choose personal delivery or specialized art transport to ensure the artwork arrives in perfect condition. After a reservation or purchase, we always contact you to carefully coordinate transport and handover.
