Coverage and use

One set can cover a surface of up to approx. 15 m². Actual coverage depends on factors such as the texture and absorbency of the substrate, the application method, the desired intensity of the effect and the type of surface.
The set is designed for properly prepared interior walls. Appropriate surface preparation is important for an even, durable result.

What else will you need?

The large Stockinette used to create the Gold Effect is included. You’ll need to provide your usual painting supplies, such as a brush or roller, paint tray, masking tape and materials for preparing the surface.

Finishing with Silken Wax

Silken Wax is the standard final finish in this set and contributes to the Gold Effect’s final appearance. This version is not the first choice for areas exposed to moisture, such as bathrooms or kitchens.
For surfaces subject to heavier use or requiring more protection, you can omit the Silken Wax and finish the surface with a suitable extra-matt varnish. This additional varnish is not included and must be purchased separately.

Old White forms the calm, warm base of the Gold Effect.

Gold

Gold gives the surface the technique’s metallic character and adds shine and depth to the finish.

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre adds warmth, nuance and contrast. Together, the three colours create a layered effect that looks warmer and richer than a uniform metallic finish.
