These practical curtain weights add extra weight to the bottom of curtains and sheers. This helps the fabric hang more evenly and reduces the chance of lightweight fabrics curling, folding over or moving in a draught.

Place one weight in each bottom corner of the curtain for a balanced and symmetrical finish. The white colour makes the weights relatively unobtrusive when used with white and light-coloured fabrics. They can be sewn into a side hem or bottom hem. Would you prefer to attach them without sewing? Use transparent curtain clips. These clips are not included and are available separately.

Application and attachment

Sew one curtain weight into the bottom of each side hem or place it in each bottom corner of the curtain. Before closing the hem, check that both weights are positioned at the same height. This helps the curtain remain properly balanced.

When using transparent clips, the weights can be attached easily to the fabric. This is useful when you do not want to sew into the fabric or would like to reuse the weights later. The required transparent clips are not included with this set.

Always attach the weights securely so that they cannot come loose when the curtain is opened, closed or washed. Remove loosely attached weights before washing and always follow the care instructions for the curtain fabric.

Decoration application tip

For a single curtain panel, use one weight in each bottom corner. If your window decoration consists of two separate curtain panels, you will need two weights for each panel and should therefore order two sets.

For long, wide or heavier curtains, 13 g in each corner may not provide sufficient weight. In this case, combine the curtain weights with hem-weighting tape or weighted cord for additional stability.
