With an offset match, the pattern does not line up straight strip-to-strip. The next strip matches at half the repeat, so the motif flows nicely with a staggered alignment.

Hanging (paper wallpaper)

Apply wallpaper paste to the paper, let it soak briefly, and then hang it on the wall. Work calmly and carefully, especially at seams and edges, because vintage paper can be more delicate.
