This Perfax wallpaper adhesive is specially developed for bonding vinyl wall coverings, textile wallpapers and glassfibre. The adhesive is suitable for use on all absorbent surfaces and provides a strong, reliable bond with a smooth and even finish.
The adhesive dries transparent, is solvent-free and easy to adjust during application, making it ideal for precise wallpapering.
Perfax Vinyl, Textile & Glassfibre adhesive is suitable for bonding vinyl wall coverings with textile or fleece backing, jute and glassfibre. It can be applied to absorbent surfaces such as plaster, concrete, gypsum and wood.
Not suitable for non-absorbent surfaces or for use in Perfax wallpaper pasting machines.
Consumption is approximately 150–200 g per m², depending on the surface and the type of wall covering.
The adhesive has an open time of approximately 20–30 minutes, allowing sufficient time for corrections during application.
The adhesive is:
– Solvent-free
– Moisture-resistant
– Dries transparent
– Easy to reposition
The surface must be firm, permanently dry, clean and free of dust and grease. Fill cracks and holes beforehand using a suitable filler. Highly absorbent surfaces should be pre-treated with diluted Perfax Vinyl & Textile adhesive (add approximately 20% water).
Stir the adhesive thoroughly before use.
Apply the adhesive evenly to the surface using a glue roller, short-haired brush or notched trowel. Apply the wall covering into the wet adhesive and press firmly. Always follow the instructions provided by the wallpaper manufacturer.
Remove adhesive residues immediately with a damp cloth. Clean tools with water immediately after use. Close the container tightly after use.
Do not apply at temperatures below +5 °C.
Non-flammable, but sensitive to frost.
Use this adhesive for heavier wall coverings where calm, even application is essential. The longer open time allows controlled working, which clearly improves the final result with textile wallpaper and glassfibre.
